Oh, Magic 8-Ball...
In a two-barber town, you go to the barber with the bad haircut. In blogging, I guess, one solicits comments. Even oracles don't look to themselves for the answers.
And so I prostrate myself before you in my quest! Slake my thirst for knowledge! Speak, O Bloggiverse!- Why does it take a two year old fifteen minutes to clean up one can of magenta play-doh?
- Where did I put those CDs...you know, the newer Norah Jones, and the other Deb Talan album...probably some others with 'em, too...
- Is it better to see my family at lunch every day and by 4 each evening but come home to a cramped rent-free prep school dormitory...or make slightly more, leave work at work each evening, rush home -- an hour commute -- to a tiny, mortgaged suburban cottage, and see my daughter for a single hour before her bedtime?
- When did I decide to stop looking at schools too far from our parents?
- How far is too far?
- Why is it that all the students I most loved over the years are falling apart and dropping out -- just like I did when I was their age?
- When did I become a man whose happiness depends exclusively on getting the kiddie cart at the supermarket. You know, the one with the red plastic truck built into the front. Yeah, the one your daughter keeps falling from. Into the path of oncoming old ladies whose noses are stuck in their shopping lists.
- Why can't I cook fish?
- When you pour an entire saucepan of chunky fish grease down the kitchen sink, where does it go?
- What does the quadratic equation do again?
- What am I doing wrong?
- Is it Spring yet?
- Why?

10. The quadratic equation is a way to figure out the possible values of x in a formula containing a squared x and with a known value. (i.e. f(x) of the form x^2 e.g. f(x) = 5x^2-2x+2 = 0). Since you can't solve it simply otherwise through simple subtraction/addition/multiplication/division.
Oh, and #5 - more than halfway....e.g. How far can you walk INTO the woods?
Allow me to advise regtarding the fish: If you're cooking haddock or cod, say, steaming works great and is foolproof. A little soy sauce, finger, and green onion, and it's scrumptious. As for pan fried fish, you should remember this: fish, like all seafood, should really only have a passing association with heat, and that heat should be very, very hot. For thin fillets, like trout, salt and pepper them, then toss into an oiled, very hot pan, skin side down. when the cooked color creeps up the edges, flip, cook until just done, and no further, and then eat. If you're inexperienced, thicker fillets like salmon can be convieniently broiled, allowing you to check on it again and again until it's done. My advice: broil it with a mixture of soy sauce and maple syrup on top. Very luxurious. -Matt
um, ginger, not finger. Please do not mutilate yourself over a typo.

Subject: HIGH TECHNIQUE ELECTRICAL HOME APPLIANCES---COMPUTERIZE GAS KITCHEN
Date: Mon, 7 Jan 2002 08:53:27 +0000 (UTC)
From: "MRS WANG"
Organization: FUJIAN HUALI TECHNOLOGY CREATING CO,LTD
Do you like to comprehend a computer housemaid ? Do you like to own a blue soldier ? Today , SHIELD gives you the answer .
SHIELD is a computerize gas kitchen which is controlled automatically and intelligently. It is a world wide invention , is a new generation of the gas kitchen..
What is the benefits that SHIELD brings to us ? Firstly , it will relieve you out of the kitchen ,you shouldn't be in when you cook the food .Second ,it solved the problem that the food would be burned ,the soup be out and the gas be leaked .And it will make your family safer and healthier.
Do you want to understand much more merits about SHIELD? Please see the followings:
1. amounts and the kinds of food (boiling water, porridge, rice , soup ,fish ,meat ,medicine), SHIELD will regulate the temperature and time to cook automatically ,and the soap won't be out ,the food won't be burned .It will turn off the electric and gas source by itself ,and tell you by springing out the music .
2. when needing and you can set five times to light fire .
3. ,it will send out a big fire ,and when the temperature reached 100 ,it would change the flame .If the temperature is below 100 ,it will turn to be a big fire ,and keep the flame blue .The containing of CO is less than 0.04% of total .(standard :less than 0.05%) . And then it reduced the pollute .
4. B"CAutomatically limit the time of offering gas :It is 30 minutes that offering the gas. When cooking ,it won't be out whenever it is blew or watered .Because when the fire is out , it will light automatically. When the gas leaked ,the density reached up a level or the temperature of the platform is over 80 ,SHIELD will warn you and turn off the electric and gas source .
5. need ,it can set the temperature and heat the food by itself .
6. according to the container .
7. 70.51%(standard :higher than 55%).Comparing to the common gas kitchen ,it can save more than 40%source of total .
8. natural gas and marsh gas to cook , also can use many kinds of pans, such as iron pan ,aluminum pan and high pressured pan. SHIELD computerize gas kitchen is a housemaid , is a soldier .Is there anything more important than the safety and health of your family ?
Let us share more happy in our lives .Not to bore for the burned food, not to be sad for no time for cooking .For you love your family ,please begin with SHIELD .Possessing SHIELD is possessing love .
